An anti-terrorism court sent Muhammad Saad bin Riaz to judicial custody after investigators alleged he used digital platforms to recruit individuals for extremist activities. The case has highlighted how online spaces in Pakistan are increasingly being exploited by militant networks to expand their reach.

Security officials claim the accused leveraged his online following to influence and radicalise viewers, exposing significant gaps in monitoring and regulation.
