'Jaat' Box Office Collection Day 4: Sunny Deol's Film Sees Significant Growth on Sunday, Surpasses Rs 40 Crore

Sunny Deol's Jaat, which released in theatres on Thursday, has been performing well at the box office, building on the success of his previous film Gadar 2, which was a massive hit. Although Jaat cannot be compared to Gadar 2 in scale, it has been doing well on its own, even giving tough competition to Salman Khan's Sikandar.
The film opened with ₹9.5 crore on Day 1 (Thursday), but saw a slight dip on Day 2 (Friday) with ₹7 crore. However, the weekend saw a significant rise, especially on Sunday, with the film earning ₹14 crore, marking a 43.59% increase from Saturday's ₹9.75 crore. As a result, the total box office collection for Jaat stands at ₹40.25 crore, according to Sacnilk. This growth, especially on Sunday, has been pivotal in maintaining the film's momentum and may help keep its pace strong in the coming days.
Jaat has performed particularly well in northern markets, such as Rajasthan, Delhi/UP, and West Punjab, while its numbers in Maharashtra and Gujarat have been relatively lower. Still, the film’s day-by-day trend indicates it is heading toward success. On the other hand, Sikandar has seen a significant drop in its box office performance, earning only ₹40 lakh on Saturday and ₹54 lakh on Sunday. Its total earnings so far stand at ₹109.04 crore.
The upcoming Ambedkar Jayanti holiday in certain parts of India could further boost the box office collection for Jaat, helping it maintain its momentum. Meanwhile, the south Indian film Good Bad Ugly, starring Ajith Kumar, has been a strong competitor in the southern markets, contributing to a tough competition at the box office. The estimated total for Good Bad Ugly in India stands at ₹87.84 crore. In summary, Jaat is performing strongly, especially on Sunday, and appears to be on track for success.
