Indian passengers from Dubai arrived safely at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad on Thursday amid continued flight disruptions caused by the US Israel and Iran conflict over the past few days. Coordination between airport authorities and airline officials has helped ease the situation for stranded travellers who had faced uncertainty due to widespread cancellations and delays.

Meanwhile, special flights from Dubai landed safely at several Indian airports on Wednesday, including Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Chennai International Airport, as flight operations slowly resumed following disruptions linked to the escalating West Asia conflict. Some flights also arrived in Hyderabad and Chennai, offering relief to passengers who had been waiting to return home.

Santosh Kumar, a passenger who landed in Chennai, told ANI that he had travelled to Dubai for work when the conflict escalated. He said that although his stay was extended by a few days, he did not face major difficulties. According to him, the Dubai government and local people were very supportive and ensured the safety and security of those affected.

As flights gradually resume operations, normal conditions are slowly returning in the UAE, bringing relief to thousands of Indians who were eager to return home. At the same time, Indian diplomatic missions across the Gulf region have increased efforts to assist stranded passengers after temporary airspace closures in parts of West Asia disrupted flights. The Embassy of India in Kuwait said in a post on X that it remains fully engaged in helping Indian nationals affected by the situation.

The embassy stated that its officials are in regular contact with stranded passengers and are coordinating closely with Kuwaiti authorities, hotels and airlines to provide assistance. Authorities and airlines continue to closely monitor the evolving situation in the Gulf region, with safety assessments guiding the gradual restoration of flight services across the region.
