The entire nation erupted in celebration on Sunday night as Team India once again claimed the T20 World Cup title. Fans across the country rejoiced after the Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in the final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As celebrations spread nationwide, several Bollywood celebrities shared their reactions on social media. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was among them, expressing his pride and excitement over India remarkable victory.

The actor posted an image of Team India lifting the trophy and applauded the players for their dominant performance. Referring to them as champions, Shah Rukh Khan said their performance had filled the whole nation with pride. “What a comprehensive victory! Well done to our Men in Blue. You guys are champions, and watching you on the field has made the entire country proud. Take a bow. Jai Hind!” he wrote on X.

Actor Akshay Kumar also joined the online celebrations. He shared a GIF of himself dancing from his upcoming film Bhoot Bangla and said that the festive mood could be felt in every household. “Har ghar ka mahaul. Congratulations on bringing the World Cup home, Team India,” Akshay wrote. In the final match, India posted a massive total of 255 runs thanks to impressive batting from Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson, all of whom scored half centuries. New Zealand were later bowled out for 159.

Jasprit Bumrah played a crucial role with the ball, claiming four wickets, while Axar Patel added three more to ensure a comfortable win for India. Bumrah was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance. Sanju Samson received the Player of the Tournament award after scoring 321 runs in five matches during the competition. Former T20 World Cup winning captains MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma were also present at the Narendra Modi Stadium to witness the final. With this victory, India became the first team to successfully defend the men T20 World Cup title and secured their third championship after earlier wins in 2007 and 2024.
