A 15-year-old in Pathankot was arrested for sharing security information with the ISI.

Punjab Police on Monday arrested a 15-year-old boy in Pathankot for allegedly passing sensitive national security information to Pakistani terror groups, including the ISI and military officials, according to SSP Daljinder Singh Dhillon. The officer stated that the teenager had been in contact with these agencies for nearly a year.
The accused, identified as Sanjeev Kumar, was reportedly recruited through social media at a time when he was emotionally vulnerable, believing his father had been murdered. However, police investigations later found no evidence supporting this belief. Authorities said the boy shared videos of sensitive locations and maintained contact with gang members in Pakistan who were operating a terror network. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
On December 2, Punjab Police, working with central and state agencies, dismantled an ISI-backed international terror module connected to a grenade attack in Gurdaspur. DIG Border Range Sandeep Goyal revealed that the group, led by Shahzad Bhatti along with Zeeshan Akhtar and Amandeep Singh alias Aman Pannu, had already carried out an attack on a police station and was planning additional strikes to provoke communal unrest. The next planned attack was prevented following the arrest of two operatives and the recovery of weapons.
