Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on Friday, a landmark event in the mobility and automotive sector. Scheduled to run from January 17 to 22, the expo is set to feature over 100 product launches, spanning automobiles, components, technologies, and more.
The event will bring together the entire value chain of the mobility ecosystem, including automakers, component manufacturers, electronics producers, tyre and energy storage makers, automotive software developers, and recyclers. With the theme "Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain," the expo aims to foster innovation and collaboration, emphasizing sustainability and cutting-edge technology.
Three Venues, One Ambitious Vision: The expo will take place across three venues: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi at Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. Notably, India’s flagship motor show, the Auto Expo, now integrated with the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, returns to its original location at Pragati Maidan (now Bharat Mandapam) after over a decade of being hosted in Greater Noida.
Supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the event is being organized by key industry associations, including SIAM, ACMA, IESA, ATMA, ICEMA, Nasscom, and the Indian Steel Association. With participation from 5,100 international delegates and an estimated 500,000 visitors, the expo is poised to be a global hotspot for mobility innovation.
Electric Vehicles Take Center Stage: At Bharat Mandapam, electric vehicles (EVs) are expected to dominate the spotlight. Maruti Suzuki will unveil its first EV, the SUV e-VITARA, while Hyundai will launch the Creta EV. Luxury automakers like Mercedes-Benz and BMW will also make waves, with Mercedes showcasing its EQS Maybach SUV and BMW revealing the all-electric i7 alongside the new BMW X3. Over 40 new product launches are anticipated at this key segment of the event.
Global Participation at the Components Show: From January 18 to 21, the components segment at Yashobhoomi will host over 1,000 exhibitors from seven countries, including Japan, Germany, South Korea, and the UK. Highlights include five country pavilions and exhibitors from the USA, Israel, and Thailand. The components show is expected to see more than 60 new product and technology launches.
Bharat CE Expo Debuts in Greater Noida: The inaugural Bharat Construction Equipment Expo (Bharat CE Expo) will run from January 19 to 22 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. This segment will witness large-scale participation from construction equipment manufacturers, component suppliers, financiers, and tech providers.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is set to be a transformative event for India’s mobility sector, showcasing the country’s commitment to sustainable innovation and global collaboration.
