Justin Timberlake has canceled the final U.S. show of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour due to illness. The Can’t Stop the Feeling! singer was set to perform in Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday, February 27, but had to pull out just hours before the show, revealing that he was battling the flu. In a heartfelt message on Instagram, Justin expressed his disappointment, saying, “You guys, I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight. I went into soundcheck battling the flu, and now it’s gotten the best of me. It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you that you’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all.”
This isn't the first time the 44-year-old star has had to reschedule his Columbus performance. Last October, he postponed the show due to bronchitis and laryngitis. At the time, he shared an update with fans, saying, “Hey guys, I haven’t been feeling great the last few shows, and it turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I’m so sorry, but I need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2. New dates are listed above. Thank you for understanding—I’ll make it up to you.”
Despite the setback, Justin recently took a moment to acknowledge his tour team in an Instagram post. Sharing a picture with the crew, he wrote, “Only one more show to go... and I wanted to take a minute to shout out this incredible tour family. These are the people who keep this whole thing running. You guys don’t get to see everyone on stage, but without every single person in this picture, none of this would be possible. So much love. Let’s do it one more time tomorrow night in Columbus.” Unfortunately, that final show didn’t happen, but fans will surely be wishing him a speedy recovery.
