Sir Anthony Hopkins shared a heartfelt message on Instagram after losing his home in the Los Angeles wildfires. The 87-year-old actor, who resides in the US despite being born in Wales, expressed his thoughts on the ongoing tragedy, saying, "As we all struggle to heal from the devastation of these fires, it's important to remember that the only thing we take with us is the love we give."
Other celebrities, such as Paris Hilton, Milo Ventimiglia, Mel Gibson, Miles Teller, and Billy Crystal, have also lost their homes in the fires. Billy Crystal, 76, shared that he is praying for the safety of firefighters and first responders. In a statement to People, he described the devastation, saying, "Words can't capture the enormity of what we're witnessing. Our hearts ache for those who have lost their homes and businesses."
Billy, who lived in the home with his wife Janice since 1979, reflected on the many memories made there with their daughters, Jennifer and Lindsay. Despite the heartbreak, he found solace in the love and support of family and friends, saying, "Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that can't be taken away."
