The veteran actor expressed that it was "high time" they received such opportunities and that he had been eagerly waiting for this phase in their careers.
Sunny Deol on the Deol Family’s New Phase: At the trailer launch of his upcoming film Jaat on Monday, Sunny spoke about how his family, including his father Dharmendra, is experiencing a fresh chapter in their acting journeys, as reported by India Today. When asked if this newfound success added pressure on him, Sunny denied it, stating that he had been waiting for these opportunities for a long time. He said, "I don't feel any pressure. It’s about time we got such work. We’ve always had to wait for our turn, and that's just how our family is. You keep working hard, not knowing when your time will come. The key is to keep fighting and never back down."
On Future Projects: Speaking about his upcoming films, Sunny said, “Right now, I can only discuss Jaat. I’m involved in several projects, and I’m grateful that these films are finally taking shape. Gadar 2 was the turning point for me. I’ll talk about other projects when the time is right, but they all have incredible stories.”
Sunny’s Upcoming Film Jaat: Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat features Sunny Deol in a powerful role alongside Randeep Hooda, who plays the antagonist. The trailer, unveiled on Monday, shows an intense confrontation between their characters, with Sunny’s role determined to bring down Randeep’s empire. The film also stars Saiyami Kher, Regina Cassandra, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Ramya Krishnan, and Swarupa Ghosh in key roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, with music by Thaman S, Jaat is set to hit theaters on April 10.
