Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi paid tribute to producer RB Choudary after his tragic death in a road accident.

South cinema superstars Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi Konidela, and several other prominent film personalities have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of veteran film producer RB Choudary, who tragically lost his life in a road accident near Joontha village in Rajasthan. He was 76 years old at the time of his passing.
Rajinikanth paid an emotional tribute, describing RB Choudary as a “top-notch producer” and a “wonderful human being.” He highlighted that Choudary had played a key role in supporting and encouraging numerous young directors, helping them establish their careers in the film industry. The actor also shared that the news of his sudden death left him shocked and deeply saddened, and he extended heartfelt condolences to his family, praying for peace to his soul.
Chiranjeevi Konidela, who worked with the producer on the 2022 film Godfather, also expressed his grief. He remembered RB Choudary’s significant contribution to Indian cinema and praised him for consistently backing strong stories and nurturing talent under his banner Super Good Films. Chiranjeevi added that the producer’s absence is a major loss to the film industry and conveyed strength to his family during this difficult time.
Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan also mourned the loss, recalling his long association with Choudary through the 1998 film Suswagatham. He praised the producer for his sharp understanding of cinema, his focus on family-oriented stories, and his ability to connect with audiences across Telugu and Tamil industries. Pawan Kalyan further noted that RB Choudary earned a respected place in Indian cinema through films that balanced strong emotions and popular appeal.
With a career spanning over four decades, RB Choudary produced several blockbuster films including Nattamai, Gokulam, and Suryavamsam, which remain popular even today. His last production, Maareesan (2025), starred Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil and featured music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. His contribution to Indian cinema continues to be widely acknowledged and remembered.
