Parth Samthaan has taken a break from social media after his family faced trolling, saying it is pointless to mention names.

Parth Samthaan surprised fans after announcing a temporary break from social media, citing distress caused by ongoing online negativity, including alleged targeted attacks on him and his family. On Tuesday, he shared an Instagram Story explaining that he has been dealing with a surge of abusive comments from fake accounts, which he believes are being used to harass him and his loved ones. The actor expressed deep anger and hurt over the situation, suggesting he may have an idea about who is responsible but choosing not to publicly name anyone, saying it would be pointless to do so.
“I have always been a peaceful and positive guy, focusing on the good, but recently I have noticed someone using bot accounts to post rubbish about my family, me, and my personal life. It’s shocking and extremely hurtful. I am fuming with anger. I think I know who is behind it, but it’s pointless to take names… To be continued,” he wrote.
He further stated that instead of engaging with the negativity or filing repeated complaints, he would rather focus his energy on his personal life and work commitments. Announcing his break, he added, “I have decided to take a break from social media for some time. I can’t keep draining my energy on complaining to the cyber crime department. I would rather focus on my life and my role as Mahid. Love PS.”
On the professional front, he is currently seen in the television show Seher Hone Ko Hai, where he plays the lead role of Mahid, alongside actors like Mahhi Vij, Rishita Singh, and Kanika Maheshwari. He previously gained popularity through shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, where his role as Manik Malhotra earned him a strong fan following.
