New Delhi: Cricketer Mohammed Siraj and actress Mahira Sharma have finally addressed the rumors surrounding their alleged relationship. On Friday, Mahira took to her Instagram stories, clarifying, "Stop spreading rumors, I'm not dating anyone." Shortly after, Siraj also dismissed the speculation in an Instagram post, which he later deleted. His statement read, "I request paparazzi to stop asking me such questions. These rumors are completely false and baseless. I hope this puts an end to it."

The rumors intensified after Mahira attended an event in Mumbai on March 20, where paparazzi attempted to link her to the IPL by asking about her team preferences. In a viral video, photographers were heard questioning, "The IPL starts tomorrow. Mahira ji, whose side are you on? Which team are you supporting? What is your favorite team?"

Speculation about a possible romance between the actress and the Indian fast bowler had been circulating for months. ETimes previously reported that the two were allegedly "romantically involved," citing anonymous sources who claimed they had been getting to know each other over time.
