Mercedes-Benz has marked the global debut of its first fully electric C-Class, which it describes as the most dynamic C-Class ever created, aiming to redefine benchmarks in the electric mid-size segment. The car features athletic proportions, with a low, sleek front, a smooth flowing roofline, and a rounded rear that together form a coupe-like profile. Sharp body lines and pronounced wheel arches further enhance its sporty and elegant stance.

At the front, the design stands out with a new signature grille featuring a wide chrome surround, a smoked-glass-style mesh pattern, and a centrally placed Mercedes star. The grille can also be illuminated and display animations when the car is locked, unlocked, or charging. The LED headlights, styled with a distinctive star motif, are seamlessly integrated into the grille, while the daytime running lights, indicators, and position lamps also carry the brand’s star-inspired design language. Chrome detailing extends across the air intakes, window surrounds, and panoramic glass roof.

The rear continues this design theme with four round taillights arranged in a star-inspired pattern, giving the car a strong visual identity. Inside, the vehicle offers a welcome and farewell lighting and display sequence when entering or exiting. The dedicated electric platform increases cabin space thanks to a 2,962 mm wheelbase. The panoramic roof adds extra headroom, increasing space by 22 mm in the front and 11 mm in the rear. Practicality is also strong, with a 470-litre boot and a 101-litre front trunk.

An optional 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen dominates the dashboard, offering customizable ambient themes that sync with the instrument cluster, controls, and lighting. Ambient lighting extends across the dashboard, doors, and into the panoramic roof. The seats are electrically adjustable with memory settings, lumbar support that adapts to the spine, massage functionality, ventilation, and immersive 4D audio features.

At launch, the range is led by the C400 4MATIC, producing 360 kW and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4 seconds. It is equipped with a 94 kWh battery, delivering up to 762 km of WLTP range and supporting ultra-fast DC charging of up to 330 kW, allowing roughly 325 km of range in just 10 minutes. Mercedes-Benz has also confirmed that additional variants, including rear-wheel and all-wheel drive models with different battery options, will arrive in 2027. A rear-wheel drive version is expected to offer a range of up to 800 km.
