A Lamborghini struck several workers outside an under-construction complex in Noida’s Sector 94, injuring two, according to media reports. The injured workers were rushed to a hospital and are reported to be out of danger. Police arrested the driver at the scene and seized the red luxury car, registered in Puducherry. Investigations revealed that the car did not belong to the accused, identified as Deepak, who is involved in the business of buying and selling cars. He was taking the vehicle for a test drive when the accident occurred.

A video circulating online shows locals confronting Deepak after the incident. One person questioned him, saying, “Why are you showing off with stunts? People have died—do you realize that?” As Deepak stepped out of the car, he reportedly asked, “Koi mar gaya idhar? (Has anyone died here?)” Another person responded, “What else? Just look there. Somebody call the police.”

In the footage, a man asks the accused if he knows how many people have died, followed by another voice urging, “Call the police.” Speaking to PTI, Sector 126 Police Station in-charge Bhupendra Singh confirmed that the injured laborers, both from Chhattisgarh, suffered fractures in their legs but were in stable condition.

Deepak, a resident of Ajmer, was arrested, and the car was confiscated. During interrogation, he claimed that the car’s screen was displaying an error, which he was checking while driving, leading to the accident. The incident has sparked concerns over reckless driving, especially involving high-speed luxury vehicles in public spaces.
