Inchcape+, the official distributor of BYD electric commercial trucks in Singapore, has inaugurated the BYD Commercial Mobility Hub. Situated on the third floor of Revv West Enterprise Hub at 1 Corporation Drive, Jurong, the facility serves as both a showroom for BYD's electric commercial vehicles and an educational platform highlighting their EV technologies.

Businesses exploring a shift to electric vehicles can visit the hub to learn about tailored EV solutions from BYD and Inchcape+, as well as test-drive BYD’s electric truck models. During the grand opening, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Inchcape+ and ComfortDelGro, marking a partnership where Inchcape+ will provide EV solutions for diverse business needs, while ComfortDelGro will offer expert advice on EV infrastructure development, charging solutions, financing, and leasing.

The event also featured the official launch of the BYD T9R electric heavy-duty truck. The T9R boasts a driving range of 320 km and fast-charging capability, going from 20% to 80% charge in approximately one hour. Designed for versatility, it can be customized for various operational demands. Notably, Inchcape+ had previously secured 100 orders for the T9R, spanning industries such as construction, logistics, and waste management, as announced during last year’s Singapore International Transportation and Commercial Expo (SITCE).
