The exciting treasure hunt, Hunt the Mouse, is back, and this time, it's happening in Sentosa! A total of $100,000 worth of coins is hidden across the island, waiting to be found over the next 17 days. Sqkii, the Singapore-based gamification marketing company behind this popular free-to-play game, announced its return in a Facebook post on March 6.
Currently, five Sentosa silver coins, each worth $1,000, are already hidden, with 55 more set to be dropped throughout the event. Adding to the excitement, a special Discovery crystal coin worth $10,000 will be hidden on March 8. To participate, players can follow Sqkii’s Facebook page, where one hint will be released daily. Additionally, using GPS in Sentosa provides extra clues and advantages to improve chances of finding the coins.
The previous edition of Hunt the Mouse, announced in October 2024, had a whopping $1 million prize pool. The treasure included a gold coin worth $500,000 and 300 silver coins valued between $500 and $2,500 each. The grand prize, a gold coin, was finally discovered on November 8, 2024, by three friends. They found it cleverly hidden beneath leaves under a bench near Blk 208, New Upper Changi Road in Bedok. With a fresh challenge and a new location, this year’s hunt promises plenty of thrills. Will you be the one to uncover the hidden fortune? The search is on!
