Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have disclosed that they departed from Kashmir just hours before the terror attack in Pahalgam.

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, a well-known television couple, were vacationing in Kashmir with their son Ruhaan just a day before the Pahalgam terror attack. Fans had expressed concern for their safety based on their social media posts from the region. Addressing these concerns, Shoaib Ibrahim reassured everyone on his Instagram Story, stating that they are safe.
On Tuesday, he wrote, "Hi guys, you’ve all been concerned about our well-being... We are all safe, we left Kashmir this morning and reached Delhi safely. Thank you for your concern... A new vlog will be up soon." A few days earlier, Shoaib and Dipika had shared pictures and videos from Kashmir, enjoying the scenic views with their son. Dipika captioned one of the posts, "Dhadkan."
In a tragic turn, 26 people were killed and several others injured when terrorists opened fire on tourists in Pahalgam, marking one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in recent times. Among the victims were a Navy officer and a member of the Intelligence Bureau. Due to the area's inaccessibility, military helicopters were used to evacuate the injured.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Srinagar the previous evening, where he was briefed by Jammu and Kashmir Police Director General Nalin Prabhat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had cut his two-day visit to Saudi Arabia short, spoke with Shah and directed him to visit the site of the attack. Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim married in February 2018 in Bhopal and welcomed their son, Ruhaan, in June 2023.
