Delhi Revenge Attack: Three Juveniles Detained for Stabbing Teen in Trilokpuri, Two Knives Seized

Three juveniles have been apprehended by the Delhi Police in connection with the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in East Delhi's Trilokpuri, with police suspecting the incident was carried out as retaliation for an earlier dispute between the teenagers. The incident took place in the area under Mayur Vihar Police Station on the night of September 23. Police have recovered two knives allegedly used in the attack, while a search is continuing for another juvenile believed to have been involved.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), police received a PCR call reporting a stabbing in 30 Block, Trilokpuri, at around 9:30 pm. A team led by the SHO of Mayur Vihar Police Station was sent to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where the injured teenager had been admitted. An investigation team also reached the location and examined the crime scene.

The victim was later transferred to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for specialised treatment. Police said his condition is currently stable. During the initial investigation, officers found that the attack was allegedly linked to an earlier confrontation between the victim and one of the juveniles. Police said the two groups had clashed around two weeks earlier, during which the victim and his associates allegedly assaulted the juvenile. Investigators suspect the juvenile later planned a retaliatory attack with three associates. The group allegedly stopped the teenager and assaulted him before stabbing him.

An FIR has been registered at Mayur Vihar Police Station under charges related to attempt to murder. Police have so far apprehended three of the four juveniles allegedly involved in the incident. Two knives believed to have been used during the attack have also been recovered. Police teams are continuing efforts to locate the remaining suspect, while further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
