BRAS says it conducted 174 attacks this year, resulting in the deaths of over 160 Pakistani security members in Balochistan.

The Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), an armed group, on Friday released its 2025 operational summary, claiming responsibility for 174 attacks across Balochistan during the year, according to The Balochistan Post (TBP). The organisation stated that its operations resulted in the deaths of 167 Pakistani military and intelligence personnel, while 95 others were injured. It also claimed that 26 individuals, including members of Pakistani intelligence agencies, were detained during these activities.
According to the report, BRAS carried out 35 explosions, 14 raid operations, and 35 cordon-and-search missions, in addition to striking 15 infrastructure targets. The group said it destroyed 30 government and military vehicles and seized 51 weapons. BRAS further claimed that in August 2025 its fighters took control of Zehri town in Khuzdar for over a month, during which Pakistani forces were allegedly subjected to sustained attacks. The organisation said it captured a significant amount of vehicles, weapons, and military equipment, while its fighters patrolled the area and addressed public gatherings during that period.
Earlier in the week, other armed groups within the BRAS alliance also published their annual operational reports for 2025, as cited by TBP. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) stated that it conducted 521 attacks during the year, claiming that more than 1,060 Pakistani military personnel were killed and over 556 were wounded. The group also reported the destruction of vehicles, surveillance towers, quadcopters, and military infrastructure, along with the capture of 208 weapons. It added that 72 of its fighters were killed in 2025, including 11 members of the Majeed Brigade.
Meanwhile, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for 581 attacks across Balochistan in 2025, stating that 647 personnel were killed and 282 injured. The group said its operations targeted military bases, checkpoints, surveillance systems, and convoy routes. The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) reported conducting 88 attacks across Balochistan, Sindh, and Punjab. According to TBP, the group targeted railway lines used by Pakistani forces, as well as checkpoints, police stations, gas pipelines, and communication towers, claiming that 22 personnel were killed and 35 wounded.
