Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. On the third day of his stay in the Swiss town, he is also scheduled to meet representatives from the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The Chief Minister will engage with top executives from prominent companies, including Unilever, DP World Group, Petronas, Google Cloud, Pepsi, and AstraZeneca. Additionally, Naidu is expected to hold talks with Bill Gates and WEF officials to further the state's growth prospects. A press release confirmed these meetings.
During the visit, Andhra Pradesh is expected to sign an agreement with Greenko, a renewable energy player, marking a significant step toward enhancing the state's commitment to sustainable development. Furthermore, Naidu will take part in roundtable discussions covering various key topics, such as organic farming, human mission calibration, green hydrogen, and renewable power. These conversations are set to emphasize the state's role in fostering a green future.
The CM will also showcase investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh while promoting the state's brand, 'Brand Andhra.' This effort aims to attract global investors and highlight the potential for industrial growth within the state.
Earlier, Naidu addressed a roundtable discussion on the topic 'Building the Next Petrochemical Hub,' where he highlighted the vast potential of Andhra Pradesh as a major petrochemical hub in India. "Our state is home to India's largest Petroleum, Chemicals, and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR), which spans an impressive 640 square kilometers," Naidu stated in a post on 'X.' He emphasized the state's growing industrial ecosystem and the immense opportunities it presents for investors. With substantial investments already being directed to Visakhapatnam and Ramayapatnam, Andhra Pradesh is poised to become a thriving destination for global industries and investors, fostering mutually beneficial collaborations.
