Although no official statement linked the meeting to the Bankipur result, its timing has drawn significant political attention.

The Bankipur bypoll delivered a major setback to the BJP after Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor emerged victorious in the high-profile contest. The result has sparked debate over changing voter preferences in Bihar and raised questions about the BJPs electoral strategy in one of its traditional strongholds. According to sources, the interaction between Modi and Nitish Kumar focused on governance, coordination within the NDA, and development-related issues concerning Bihar.
