Mumbai, June 6 (AHN) Actress Lisa Ray has listed out everything from her love for 70s folk music and vintage skinny jeans to her dislike of being called “bro,” as she celebrated being unapologetically herself, urging people to focus less on trends.
Lisa shared a video, where she shared about thriving at 54 and embracing herself.
“I love 70s folk, I don’t listen to Taylor Swift, I say delusional not delulu, I started yoga 25 years ago I love my age, decades of moments, I prefer Fellini to Marvel movies, I cry…a lot.”
She added: “Don’t call me your bro. Bare feet over heels. I love Annie’s Song, My Sweet Lord, You’ve Got a Friend. I have well loved droopy breasts that I don’t want to lift. I love old skinny jeans. I wear bathing caps in the pool.”

Lisa began her modelling career in India in the early 1990s. She made her acting debut in 1994 in the film Hanste Khelte.
Through her work in acting, she has showcased a penchant for issue-oriented portrayals, most notably in the 2005 Oscar-nominated Canadian film Water and the award-winning South African feature The World Unseen.In 2009, Lisa was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an incurable form of blood cancer.
The 53-year-old actress was recently seen in 99 Songs, directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy. It featured debutants Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas in lead roles, alongside Aditya Seal, Lisa Ray, and Manisha Koirala. The film is a sensual story about the art and self-discovery of a struggling singer who wants to be a successful music composer.
In 2012, Ray announced her engagement to management consultant Jason Dehni. she got married to him the same year. In 2018, the actress announced that she and her husband became parents to twin daughters via surrogacy.
