Patna, June 23 (AHN) The dispute between Tej Pratap Yadav and his former personal assistant Motilal Yadav has intensified, with new allegations emerging from both sides.

Tej Pratap Yadav has accused Motilal Yadav of fleeing after allegedly stealing cash, jewellery, electronic devices, and important documents from his official residence in Patna. An FIR has already been registered at the Secretariat Police Station regarding the alleged theft.

Meanwhile, Motilal Yadav’s wife, Preeti Bharti, has made separate allegations regarding events at her residence. She claimed that unidentified individuals entered their home, seized the mobile phones of family members, and repeatedly questioned them about certain documents.

She said the family currently has no information about Motilal Yadav’s whereabouts and has been unable to contact him. Preeti Bharti expressed concern about her husband’s safety and stated that the family is living in fear. She has sought protection from the administration.

A technical team from the Superintendent of Police’s office has reportedly visited Tej Pratap Yadav’s official residence to examine the evidence. The investigation currently includes the examination of CCTV footage from the residence, the review of cameras installed in nearby areas, the collection of witness statements, the verification of the allegedly missing items, and the analysis of available digital evidence.

Police officials are continuing to investigate all aspects of the case. According to the FIR, the alleged incident occurred on the night of June 22 at Tej Pratap Yadav’s official residence on Harding Road in Patna.

The complaint mentions the disappearance of approximately Rs 20 lakh in cash, allegedly party funds; gold jewellery; a MacBook laptop; an iPad; other laptops and hard disks; drones; and additional electronic devices and valuables.

Tej Pratap Yadav has claimed that his driver and another associate allegedly saw Motilal Yadav leaving the premises carrying a bag on the night of the incident.

Following the controversy, Tej Pratap Yadav removed Motilal Yadav from all party positions and expelled him from the organisation. He also announced the dissolution of the party’s national and state organisations and the formation of a new organisational team in the near future.

At present, the allegations made by both sides remain subject to investigation. Police are examining the evidence, recording statements, and reviewing technical material. The claims regarding the alleged theft, the disappearance of Motilal Yadav, and the allegations made by his family have not yet been independently established.

The outcome of the investigation will determine whether further legal action is taken in the case.
