Trump Announces 200 Billion dollar South Korean Investment in US Amid Alaska Pipeline Talks

US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that South Korea plans to invest around $200 billion in projects across the United States. However, Seoul indicated that a proposed $54 billion pipeline linked to an LNG development in Alaska has not yet received a final commitment. The announcement represents the first major projects to emerge from a broader $350 billion strategic investment package agreed between South Korea and the US as part of a trade deal reached last year. Under the agreement, South Korea had allocated $150 billion toward shipbuilding and another $200 billion for strategic investments in the United States.
