The viral dance clip was one of several highlights from RCB's championship party. Another widely shared video released by the franchise featured Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, celebrating on the field after Bengaluru's victory over Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2026 final. Sharing the footage, RCB praised Anushka's unwavering support for the team and Kohli throughout the years. RCB's celebrations came after a historic achievement, as the franchise secured consecutive IPL titles. Reflecting on the accomplishment, Kohli said the team had challenged itself to defend the crown after winning the championship last season and was proud to have succeeded once again.
In the final held in Ahmedabad, RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets to lift the IPL 2026 trophy. Gujarat managed 155/8 in their 20 overs after being asked to bat first, with Washington Sundar top-scoring with an unbeaten half-century. RCB's bowlers kept the pressure on throughout the innings, with Rasikh Dar Salam claiming three wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood chipped in with two each.
Chasing 156, Bengaluru got off to a strong start through an attacking partnership between Virat Kohli and Venkatesh Iyer. Although Gujarat fought back by taking wickets in the middle overs, Kohli remained composed at the crease. His unbeaten 75 from 42 deliveries, featuring nine boundaries and three sixes, guided RCB to victory with two overs to spare and sealed another memorable title for the franchise.
