Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged French businesses to invest in India, emphasizing that a global transformation is possible when France’s technological expertise combines with India’s skilled workforce.
Speaking at the India-France CEO Forum on Tuesday, Modi highlighted the vast investment opportunities in sectors such as defense, advanced technology, fintech, and pharmaceuticals. He assured business leaders that this is the ideal time to enter the Indian market, which is poised for significant growth and collaboration.
"I invite you all to be part of India’s development journey. When France’s craftsmanship meets India’s scale, when India's speed aligns with France’s precision, and when France’s technology merges with India’s talent, it’s not just business that will evolve, but the entire world will witness transformation," Modi told the gathering, which was also attended by French President Emmanuel Macron.
He further emphasized that the India-France CEO Forum plays a crucial role in strengthening economic partnerships and driving innovation. "It’s encouraging to see business leaders from both nations working together, creating new opportunities, and shaping a brighter future for the next generations," he shared in a post on X.
Modi also pointed to the aviation sector as an example of India's growing economic influence. He noted that Indian companies have placed large aircraft orders, and with plans to develop 120 new airports, the potential for further investments is immense. "India’s progress is linked to global progress, and now is the perfect moment to be part of this journey," he concluded.
