Sadie Sink is set to join Spider-Man 4, starring alongside Tom Holland in the highly anticipated sequel. The Stranger Things actress has reportedly signed on for a major role in the next installment of the Marvel franchise, though details about her character remain undisclosed. However, sources suggest she could potentially be introduced as X-Men’s Jean Grey.
The previous film, Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), ended with Peter Parker making the heartbreaking decision to erase himself from the memories of everyone he loved, including MJ (Zendaya). Now, with Spider-Man 4 scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, fans are eager to see where the story goes next.
Holland has already teased that the plot is unlike anything they've done before. Speaking on Good Morning America, he described the concept as "crazy" and hinted that it would take the franchise in a fresh direction. He also revealed on the Rich Roll Podcast that he and Zendaya were so excited after reading the first draft of the script that they were "bouncing around the room." While he acknowledged that the script still needs some work, he praised the writers for doing a great job and emphasized that the story is shaping up to be something fans will truly appreciate.
The 28-year-old actor also pointed out the challenge of ensuring the film fits seamlessly into the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since every Marvel movie is part of a much bigger story, the production team must carefully align Spider-Man 4 with the MCU’s overarching timeline. Despite the complexities, Holland is confident that the talented team behind the project will make it work.
Filming for Spider-Man 4 is set to begin this summer. When asked about the film during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Holland kept things brief but confirmed, "It's happening." Pressed for more details, he added, "Yeah, next summer we start shooting. Everything's good to go, we're nearly there, super exciting. I can't wait."
