Sitarist and neo-classical innovator Rishab Rikhiram Sharma concluded his India tour with a grand finale in New Delhi on Sunday, attended by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Shukla. The evening began with a welcome address by his parents, followed by a calming breathing session that led into an elaborate presentation of ragas such as Bihaag, Kedar, Tilak Kamod, and Shyam Kalyan, performed on his innovative electric sitar, SITARA.

He then delivered a contemporary sitar rendition of a popular track from Dhurandhar, instantly capturing the audience’s attention. The performance evolved into a genre-blending medley featuring sitar, percussion, and shehnai, incorporating elements from FA9LA while also paying tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan with excerpts from Man Atkeya Beparwah De Naal.

His diverse setlist included original compositions like Shankara, Shiv Kailash, Burning Ghat, Belua, and Roslyn, along with creative reinterpretations such as a Harry Potter x Game of Thrones fusion and Bollywood favorites like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Zara Zara, and Tumhi Dekho Naa, keeping audiences of all ages engaged.

The concert concluded with powerful renditions of Chanakya, Kautilya, Venkateswara, and Tandavam, earning a standing ovation. During the event, Sharma also interacted with the Chief Minister, with a video of the moment later shared online. This final show followed a successful nationwide tour that included performances in cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Kolkata.
