Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Seychelles for a three-day official visit, marking his first trip to the Indian Ocean island nation in more than a decade. The visit comes at a significant moment, as Seychelles celebrates the Golden Jubilee of its National Day and both countries commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations.

During the visit, PM Modi is attending the National Day celebrations as the Guest of Honour at the invitation of Seychelles President Dr. Patrick Herminie. The trip is expected to further strengthen the long-standing partnership between India and Seychelles, with discussions covering maritime security, economic cooperation, development projects, and regional stability.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Herminie to review the progress made in recent months and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
