India Slams Pakistan for Using OIC Platform to Push Anti-India Narrative

India has strongly rejected references to the country in resolutions adopted at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting, criticising Pakistan’s efforts to use the international platform to advance its position against New Delhi. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) described the references as biased and misleading, arguing that Pakistan continues to internationalise the Jammu and Kashmir issue rather than address its longstanding tensions with India through constructive dialogue. Islamabad’s repeated appeals to international organisations risk turning multilateral forums into platforms for political confrontation.
India has maintained that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of the country and firmly opposes what it considers external interference in its internal affairs. The latest diplomatic exchange reinforces New Delhi’s criticism of Pakistan’s continued efforts to draw international attention to Kashmir.
Pakistan’s approach has also raised questions about the effectiveness of repeatedly pursuing the dispute through international resolutions.
The latest confrontation highlights Pakistan’s continued reliance on international diplomacy to challenge India’s Kashmir policy, while New Delhi remains determined to reject external pressure on the issue. With relations between the nuclear-armed neighbours already strained, another round of diplomatic exchanges is unlikely to resolve their deeper disagreements without meaningful engagement. For India, the central message remains clear: international forums should encourage constructive dialogue rather than become arenas for competing political narratives.
