Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Vadodara in Gujarat on Tuesday to deliver the valedictory address at the concluding session of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC). Sharing an update on X, Singh said he would participate in the final session of the conference and expressed his enthusiasm about addressing the gathering. “Today, 30th June, I shall be in Vadodara, Gujarat. Looking forward to addressing the ‘Valedictory Session’ of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference,” the Defence Minister wrote in his post.

The latest edition of the VGRC for the Central Gujarat region was inaugurated on Monday by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Vadodara. He highlighted the conference as an important initiative aimed at promoting industrial expansion and transforming Central Gujarat into a leading centre for manufacturing, innovation, and investment.

Speaking to industry representatives, investors, and entrepreneurs, Chief Minister Patel said India’s economic growth has gained momentum across multiple sectors under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He credited the government’s focus on innovation, development, and long-term planning for strengthening India’s position on the global stage.

Patel said India’s growing international partnerships reflect increasing global confidence in the country’s economic potential. He added that the Gujarat government has expanded the Vibrant Gujarat platform beyond the main global summit by introducing regional conferences focused on highlighting local industries, district-level capabilities, and investment opportunities.

Describing VGRC as more than just an investment event, the Chief Minister said the initiative works as a connection between local businesses and global markets. He encouraged industry leaders and entrepreneurs to turn discussions into concrete projects and contribute towards economic growth and prosperity. The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference aims to showcase regional strengths, attract investments, and create new opportunities for industries across Gujarat.
