The political thriller Conclave and the drama The Brutalist were the biggest winners at the EE Bafta Film Awards, each taking home four awards. Conclave, based on Robert Harris' novel, won Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Best Editing, and Best Adapted Screenplay. The Brutalist earned Best Leading Actor for Adrien Brody, Best Director for Brady Corbet, Best Original Score, and Best Cinematography.

Other winners included Emilia Perez, Anora, Dune: Part Two, A Real Pain, and Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, each winning two awards. Mikey Madison won Best Leading Actress for Anora, while Dune: Part Two won Best Sound and Best Special Visual Effects. Emilia Perez won Best Non-English Language Film, with Zoe Saldaña taking Best Supporting Actress.

Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain won Best Original Screenplay, while Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor. Wicked won Best Production Design and Best Costume Design. Blitz and Gladiator II left empty-handed. David Tennant hosted the event, opening with a performance of I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles). The ceremony paid tribute to Dame Maggie Smith and James Earl Jones. Warwick Davis received the Bafta Fellowship Award and dedicated it to his late wife.

Best Casting went to Anora, Best Cinematography to The Brutalist, and Best Editing to Conclave. Wicked won Best Costume Design, The Substance won Best Makeup and Hair, and The Brutalist won Best Original Score. Wicked also won Best Production Design. Dune: Part Two won Best Sound and Best Special Visual Effects. Wander to Wonder won Best British Short Animation, while Rock, Paper, Scissors won Best British Short Film. David Jonsson won the Rising Star Award.
