Bharat Forge Kilsta AB and NAMMO Sweden AB have entered into a strategic defence partnership aimed at strengthening Europe’s ammunition manufacturing capabilities under the European Union’s Re-Arm initiative. Bharat Forge Kilsta AB, a subsidiary associated with India’s engineering major Bharat Forge Limited, brings industrial expertise in precision engineering and large-scale manufacturing. Meanwhile, NAMMO Sweden AB, part of the Nordic defence group Nammo, is known for its advanced ammunition and defence technology solutions.

According to industry sources, the partnership aligns with the European Union's broader Re-Arm initiative, which aims to boost defence preparedness across member states amid rising geopolitical tensions and increasing demand for ammunition and military supplies.
