Autopsy Reveals Lung Clot Caused Prateek Yadav's Death; Six Injuries Found on Body

The death of Prateek Yadav has taken a serious turn after the postmortem report revealed that he suffered multiple injuries before his death. According to the autopsy findings, a blood clot in the lungs, medically known as pulmonary thromboembolism, was identified as the primary cause of death. Officials involved in the investigation said the report mentioned “cardiorespiratory collapse” triggered by the clot, which blocked blood flow in the lungs and caused severe stress on the heart and respiratory system. Medical experts state that pulmonary embolism can become fatal within minutes if not treated immediately.
The postmortem examination also reportedly found six ante-mortem injuries on Prateek Yadav’s body. These injuries were sustained before death, with some believed to be older while others appeared more recent. Marks were reportedly noticed on the chest, wrist, elbow, and other parts of the body. Authorities have preserved tissue samples and other medical evidence for detailed forensic and chemical analysis. Investigators are expected to wait for final laboratory reports before reaching any conclusion regarding the nature of the injuries and whether any external factors played a role.
Prateek Yadav, who largely remained away from active politics, was known in social circles for his interest in fitness, business activities, and animal welfare. He was also the husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav. The findings have sparked discussion across political and public circles, especially after details of the injuries became public. However, officials have not confirmed any foul play at this stage, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Medical professionals say pulmonary thromboembolism is a serious condition that occurs when a blood clot travels to the lungs and blocks arteries. Common risk factors include prolonged inactivity, clotting disorders, obesity, smoking, or certain underlying health conditions. As forensic experts continue their examination, authorities are expected to gather additional medical and circumstantial evidence to determine the full sequence of events leading to Prateek Yadav’s death.
