Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has achieved a remarkable feat in motorsport, with his team, Ajith Kumar Racing, securing third place in the 991 category at the prestigious Dubai 24H 2025 endurance race. The event, held at the Dubai Autodrome, is known for testing teams on speed, strategy, and endurance. Ajith launched his racing team in September 2024 and participated in the race alongside teammates Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod.

Ajith’s fans celebrated the achievement on social media, sharing videos and updates that quickly gained traction. One viral clip shows the actor proudly running to the podium with the Indian flag in hand to accept the trophy.

The journey to the podium wasn’t without obstacles. During a practice session, Ajith’s car suffered a crash, leaving it severely damaged. Fortunately, the actor was unharmed and continued to compete in the main race. In the 2025 edition, Ajith took on dual roles, racing as a driver for the Porsche Cayman GT4 (Number 414) under Ajith Kumar Racing by Razoon, while also owning the Porsche 992 Cup Car (Number 901) fielded by Ajith Kumar Racing by Bas Koeten.

The 2025 Dubai 24H, which marked the 20th anniversary of the endurance race, saw 65 cars from six different classes, including GT3 and GT4-spec cars. Organized by Creventic with FIA approval, the event is part of the renowned 24H Series, which is famous for its challenging 12- and 24-hour race formats.
