Ram Temple Theft Case: SIT Detects 105 Donation Theft Incidents, Chargesheet Expected by September 25

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating alleged donation theft at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple has detected 105 instances of suspected theft, compared with 70 cases mentioned in its earlier report. CCTV footage allegedly shows some cash-counting staff concealing donated money in their clothes, pockets and footwear. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the Supreme Court that the chargesheet is expected to be submitted by September 25, which marks the end of the 90-day statutory period. If the chargesheet is not filed by then, the eight arrested suspects could become eligible for default bail.
