The southwest monsoon has covered the entire country, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue rain alerts across several states. Heavy rainfall is expected in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, and Kerala. Delhi is under an Orange Alert with warnings of heavy showers, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds. Flood concerns have increased in Prayagraj, river levels are rising in Uttarakhand, and parts of Himachal Pradesh remain under a Yellow Alert. Kerala and Gujarat have also reported rain-related damage and flooding in several areas.
