Nepal Floods: High-Tech Drones Deployed to Deliver Relief to Flood-Affected Areas

Nepal Floods 2026: Nepal’s army has turned to advanced drones to provide food, medicines, fuel and other vital supplies to communities cut off by severe flooding. Four DJI FlyCart 100 drones donated by China are reportedly carrying out as many as 16 relief missions each day, with each drone capable of transporting loads of up to 60 kg. Beyond delivering emergency supplies, the drones are also being used to survey affected areas and help recover and transport bodies from locations that are difficult for rescue teams to access.
