The Israeli military has announced that it is conducting "extensive strikes" across the Gaza Strip.According to a spokesperson from Gaza's Hamas-run Civil Defence agency, which serves as the region’s primary emergency response unit, at least 34 Palestinians have lost their lives, while 70 others have sustained injuries.The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that its airstrikes are targeting what it refers to as "terror targets" linked to Hamas.This marks the most significant wave of airstrikes on Gaza since the ceasefire took effect on January 19. Efforts to extend the ceasefire have so far failed to yield an agreement.
