Indian Navy's Next-Generation Patrol Vessel 'Shruti' Launched at GRSE Kolkata

The Indian Navy has taken another step toward expanding its homegrown maritime capabilities with the launch of ‘Shruti’, the second Next-Generation Offshore Patrol Vessel (NGOPV). Constructed by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata, the 3,000-tonne vessel was formally launched in the presence of senior Indian Navy officials.
