European leaders are set to gather for a summit on the Ukraine war, hosted by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.The summit’s main focus will be strengthening Europe's defense capabilities as the U.S. takes a step back, along with securing security guarantees for Ukraine from the White House as part of any potential peace agreement.

Ahead of the meeting, Keir Starmer is holding talks with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The summit will also be attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and other key European leaders.
