Allu Arjun's wife, Sneha Reddy, greeted the actor with a heartfelt hug as he returned home after spending a night in the Chanchalguda jail. The actor was in jail over a case related to the death of a fan during the screening of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule last week. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday morning, Sneha was seen waiting outside for Arjun with their children. As soon as Arjun approached, Sneha hugged him tightly and became emotional upon reuniting with her husband.

Before his arrest on Friday, Arjun had been seen kissing a distraught Sneha on the cheek and holding her face tenderly. Sneha stood beside him as he finished his coffee before being taken by the police. On Saturday, after his release, Arjun spoke to reporters outside the jail, stating, "I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident."

Arjun's counsel alleged that the prison authorities did not release him despite receiving the High Court order. "You should question the government and the department why they have not released the accused. The High Court order is very specific. Forthwith, the moment you (prison authorities) receive the order, [they should] release him. Despite the clear order, they have not released him. This is an illegal detention. We will take legal steps,” Ashok Reddy, the actor’s lawyer, said.

The Pushpa actor was arrested from his residence on Friday morning in a dramatic turn of events. After his arrest, he was presented in a local court, which remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody. However, Arjun's legal team quickly moved the Telangana High Court and secured interim bail. Despite this, he was lodged in Chanchalguda prison on Friday night, as the authorities had not received a copy of the bail order until late.

On Saturday morning, Arjun was released from jail. His lawyer, Ashok Reddy, confirmed the news, saying, "He has been released." Immediately after his release, the actor was driven to his residence, where he was seen hugging his family.
