Earlier this month, Amazon introduced the Amazon Future Makerspace Lab in Bengaluru, a cutting-edge facility aimed at fostering skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics among students. Targeting children from Class 5 to Class 12 in government schools, the lab emphasizes hands-on learning to bridge the gap in access to quality computer science education.

The lab serves as an innovation hub where students can explore their curiosity and work on practical projects to address real-world challenges. From robotics and AI to 3D printing and drone technology, the lab is designed to equip students with the technical skills needed to thrive in the future. Kashyap highlighted that over the past three years, the programme has reached 2.9 million students and provided training to 16,000 teachers across eight states.
