AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, during her campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, emphasized that the party's national convener and former Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal, is the only leader in Delhi's history who has consistently worked for the welfare of the poor.
While addressing a gathering in Tilak Nagar, Atishi highlighted the achievements of the AAP government, particularly in the education sector. She claimed that government schools in Delhi now offer better facilities than private schools. "For the past decade, since Arvind Kejriwal became the Chief Minister, he has tirelessly worked for the common people of Delhi. He stands as the only leader in the city's history who has prioritized the needs of the underprivileged," Atishi stated.
She further added, "Delhi is unique in having round-the-clock electricity. A decade ago, government schools lacked basic facilities, but under our administration, they now surpass private schools in infrastructure. Our students are excelling, securing admissions to IITs and medical colleges by clearing competitive exams."
Appealing to voters, she said, "We trust that the residents of Tilak Nagar will continue to support the AAP, as you did in 2013, 2015, and 2020, in the upcoming elections this February." AAP has announced Jarnail Singh as its candidate for the Tilak Nagar constituency.
The party recently released its fourth and final list of 38 candidates for the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections.
