A man appeared in court facing accusations of starting a California wildfire that has burned over 370,000 acres, destroyed numerous buildings, and forced thousands of residents to evacuate their homes. Ronnie Stout, 42, was charged with arson and appeared in court on Monday afternoon. He is accused of starting the Park Fire by pushing a burning car into a ravine. The fire, now the fifth-largest in California's history, is burning across four counties approximately 100 miles north of Sacramento. It has devastated an area slightly larger than the city of Los Angeles.
